Would You Rather: Melted Cheese vs. Potatoes Eick August 24, 2007 Would You Rather? 7 Comments Today’s Would You Rather? compares two seemingly random products that are both eaten deceptively frequently. Would You Rather? Option #1: You can never eat melted cheese in any form again for the rest of your life. You can still eat any kind of cheese you want in a cold, unmelted form. Option #2: You can never eat potatoes in any form again for the rest of your life. Things to consider: Baked potatoes, hash browns, french fries, mashed potatoes, home fries, potato vodka. Pizza, Nachos, lasagna, cheeseburgers. Discuss. Can’t beat nachos and cheeseburgers…and now I’ll settle for a side of onion rings. Now to decide what’s going to replace mashed potatoes at Thanksgiving. I’ll go with onion rings and cheese sticks….MMMmm Reply tfp August 27th, 2007 Definitely would choose to keep potatoes. Cold cheese is fine with me. I don’t eat cheese that much anyway, apart from pizza, and I didn’t eat pizza for years! Reply Catch Up Lady August 28th, 2007 KEEPING THE POTATOES THANKS. If I couldn’t eat potatoes I would lose like half of the best ketchup vehicles in my wheelhouse. Does not eating cheese in the melted form apply to things like fake nacho cheese? I mean, that’s not even dairy. You don’t have to refridgerate. I feel like I might be able to have my cake and eat it too. Reply Raiders757 March 29th, 2009 I refuse to vote on this one. Melted cheese is an important part to great pizza. Taters baked on the grill, or cut into fries is good eats. Reply tori November 8th, 2010 yeah i love TOO MUCH to vote!! 🙂 hail to cheese on a potato Reply Kimberly August 29th, 2012 Gotta have my cheese. I hate any form of potatoes unless it’s fried or something (french fries, taters) so it’s an easy choice for me! DOWN with your lousy mashed potatoes! 🙂 Reply Pastabake September 15th, 2012 You can live on potato as it has everything you need … the Irish did for decades … melted cheese … you simply wouldn’t melt the nicest cheese.
