Taco Bell Embraces the Drive Thru Rap Eick May 28, 2008 Advertising, Fast Food 3 Comments Raphael has a great post up over at Serious Eats called Taco Bell Commercial Co-opts Drive Thru Rap Video Meme. In his piece, Raphael discusses Taco Bell’s new commercial which features a guy rapping while ordering at a Taco Bell drive-thru. The ad is a clear tip of the hat to the YouTube phenomenon which began more than a year ago, of people posting videos of themselves rapping at drive-thru windows.
