Sonic Sticky Bun Dough Blast Eick December 3, 2008 Desserts, Fast Food 4 Comments As loyal readers of So Good know, I have a love/hate relationship with Sonic in the sense that I would love to try their food, but they hate the idea of opening a store anywhere near where I live. But as I’ve noted before, from all indications, the food scientists and inventors at Sonic are doing the Lord’s work. One of their latest creations: The Sonic Sticky Bun Dough Blast, which includes Praline Pecans and chunks of sticky bun dough mixed with a rich, brown sugar flavored soft serve. Artificially flavored nuggets of joy! This sounded good, but when I saw the picture, I got turned off. Next time, try to make the product look a little more natural. Reply bettyjoan December 3rd, 2008 So funny–when I was living in DC, I loathed the fact that Sonic was advertising a product I had no way to consume. When I decided to move back to Atlanta, I vowed to eat regularly at Sonic in order to reward my tummy for sitting through all of the commercials. I’ve been here six months, and I have yet to visit a Sonic. Maybe because there’s Chick-fil-a on every corner? If you need a Sonic columnist, I’m your girl. I will take one for the team. 😉 Reply Youppi December 4th, 2008 Stop eick! just when I get sonic out of my head, you throw this in my face! Now I need one of these sugar cream blast deals! Damn it. Bettyjoan makes an excellent point, btw. Chick-Fil-A is the tastiest thing ever! Reply Cary December 4th, 2008 Gah! Por que Sonic, POR QUE!? I just want to consume your products. Is that too much to ask? Why are you wasting money advertising to me with your witty, “awkward is ALWAYS hilarious” commercials (which isn’t always true, by the way)? WHY? If Taco Bell were perpetrating such fraudery, I probably would’ve…well, found a Taco Bell. And then eaten the food there. I guess my deal is, I really couldn’t give a crap about Sonic’s food. If I did, I would’ve made a trip of it.
