Who doesn’t love ’em right? Whether it’s scrapping the insides out of a Peanut Butter Sandwich or throwing a sleeve of Thin Mints in the freezer, everyone has their preferred eating method. I used to always wonder, “hey, which is the best selling Girl Scout cookie and by how much?” I always assumed it was Thin Mints, but now, thanks to the magical availability of information via the Internet, we can answer that questions. The best selling Girl Scout cookies are: 25% Thin Mints 19% Samoas®/Caramel deLites® 13% Peanut Butter Patties®/Tagalongs® 11% Peanut Butter Sandwich/Do-si-dos® 9% Shortbread/Trefoils Yum. A phenomenon that resulted from simple door-to-door sales continues to be a relevant product on the market, even crossing over into other industries and partnerships such as Edy’s ice cream. Imagine the amazing marketing potential these products would possess if the Girl Scounts would ever sell these mainstream on the shelves of supermarkets.
