Beer Advertising Goes Rube JT November 18, 2010 Advertising, Beer The above beer commercial for Austrian pilsner Trumer Pils is based on what is commonly known as a Rube Goldberg machine – most often seen in the board game Mouse Trap, at The Walsh’s house in The Goonies (think Truffle Shuffle) and how Pee Wee makes his breakfast.  While the likelihood of the spot being real is exactly 0.08%, it is still pretty cool. H/t to The Statesman’s Patrick Beach, who writes a great column on beer here.
