Update: After randomly selecting someone from the comments, the winner is….Spencer! with comment #14. Congrats Spencer! I’ll be reaching out to you via e-mail to get you your prize. Thanks everyone for taking part. We found out that Starbucks released their Starbuck’s Butterbeer Latte and is almost as delicious as Ben & Jerry’s pints.

Last month, So Good wrote about the news that Ben & Jerry’s would be going fully fair trade by 2013. This is a huge deal, and something that I, as well as the company, hope will motivate and inspire other businesses to do the same. To help remind So Good readers about its commitment to going Fair Trade, Ben & Jerry’s has graciously donated a prize pack for So Good to giveaway to one of its readers.

Here’s what the winner will get: 6 months(!) of free Ben & Jerry’s ice cream in the form of 30 vouchers for a free pint, plus a Ben & Jerry’s cooler bag filled with a scoop, B&J’s tote, pint cozy, pint lock, t-shirt, hat and a water bottle.

This is a KILLER prize pack that is available to all So Good readers.

To enter to win, leave a comment on this post naming your two favorite fair trade products from any company. One lucky winner who leaves a comment will be chosen at random. This will also be a great way to educate other So Good readers about the many fair trade products out there that they don’t know about! The contest will be open for ten days, with no submissions accepted after 11:59 PM on January 15th. Don’t forget to provide your e-mail so I can reach you. Good luck everyone, and keep supporting the fair trade mission!

    Great contest.
Locally we have several coffee roasters but one of the larger ones who does a great business providing coffee services to offices is Paul DeLima. http://www.delimacoffee.com/Results2.cfm?category=5

Being able to get a fair trade option easily in an office environment is a great way to spread the word.

I also love the Newmans own fair trade coffee. Buying fair trade coffee from a company that already does a ton for charity is a double win http://www.newmansownorganics.com/food_coffee.html

This really could be a dangerous giveaway, but great to hear of good ole’ B&Js! I love Green & Black (ice cream, chocolate) and Equal Exchange…among many others!

It is a Ben & Jerry’s prize pack right? How could it not be Ben & Jerry’s Coffee Heath Bar Crunch? What about Dunkin Donuts’ Iced Expresso? Very tasty. I think the winner must promise not to use the Dr. Pepper or Crush topper on the ice cream.

I loved Caribou Coffee when I was last in Chicago but even more surprising is the fact that Dunkin Donuts has gone fully fair trade with their espresso beans.

I like BioFair’s Chocolate Coconut Creme bar and the fair trade coffees offered by President’s Choice (scandalous!) are quite good too.

I love the clothes from Avatar Imports, specifically the baseball shirt. I also have potholders from flavoroflife.com and I love their Milk Chocolate with Hazlenut. Big fan of fair trade and since shopping online makes it easy, I’m proud to support the practice whenever I can. Of course, I’ll be even happier to support the practice with a pint of Ben and Jerry’s Half Baked!

Divine chocolate is both fair trade and freakin’ delicious.

Equal Exchange’s fancy bars are also really good.

My family are big fans of Simply Organic’s Brownie Mix and Dagoba Organic Chocolate — Two things that will go great with some Ben & Jerry’s!

Ben & Jerry’s ice cream and Trader Joe’s fair trade chocolate. Can’t get much better than ice cream and chocolate. 🙂

Neither of these are edible (I don’t think) but in perhaps the least fair trade industry of them all — sneakers — you’ve got The People’s Shoes and Toms – both Fair Trade.

@BS yeah, we focus on food here, but it’s important to remember there are plenty of non-food fair trade products as well. I’m a big fan of Tom’s myself.

Wow – what an amazing contest! My favorites are Dunkin Donuts Coffee & Caribou Coffee … i’m a coffee nut! And fair trade makes it that much better. Way to go, B&J!

I go every single morning to grab a mug of Einstein’s fair trade coffee. It’s DELICIOUS.

And I’m going to second TJ’s chocolate – nom, nom, nom!

My household is all about chocolate and coffee, Equal Exchange and Green Mountain. I’d buy everything fair trade if I could afford to, and B&J doing it is awesome!

I like Starbucks fair coffee and nearly all Equal Exchange products! Fair trade is truly a good thing despite what people tend to say about it,

Without a doubt, Ben and Jerry’s and dunkin donuts coffee (not to mention, Ben and Jerry’s ice cream IN dunkin donuts coffee. Cream in your coffee, anyone?).
