Domino’s Offers 4/20 Groupon Deal Eick April 20, 2011 Marketing, Pizza 2 Comments Is there anyone out there that honestly believes this is just a coincidence of timing? No chance. The dudes at Domino’s marketing agency, Crispin, Porter + Bogusky are way too savvy to not realize the implications of offering a national (well, the lower 48 states) Domino’s pizza deal on April 20th. Even if CPB had nothing to do with the decision to offer a Groupon, the folks at Domino’s Pizza know their target market inside and out. Even the deal itself is an outrageously stonertastic offering – a large pizza with up to TEN toppings for $8. Seriously? TEN toppings? Wow. There’s gonna be a lot of college kids taking FOREVER trying to decide on their ten toppings tonight.
