It’s Wednesday, which means it’s Would You Rather time. Today’s question will be of no interest to vegetarians, and soul-crushing for those who are big meat eaters. Yep, it’s finally come to this: beef or chicken.

Option #1: You can never eat chicken again.

Option #2: You can never eat beef again.

Share in the comments why you made the choice you did. Taste, health, cost, accessibility? No matter which you gave up, share what you would miss most about the meat you gave up – is it burgers, steaks, chicken wings, fried chicken etc. etc. You could try and replace beef with another red meat, such as bison, and while you can’t have chicken, you can eat turkey or other fowl. Let us know your thoughts and your strategy to adapt and why you chose the way you did.

I find the idea of giving up chicken tenders to be absolutely horrifying. I won’t even get into no wings on football Sunday…

Give up wings and fried chicken? And grilled chicken when I’m feeling healthy? NEVAH!

I could never give up eating beef- it’s easy to find alternatives to chicken; as mentioned turkey is pretty close to chicken in almost every way, and any way that you could have chicken you could either have turkey or a cornish game hen, capon, duck or pheasant. But try to go an entire summer without a hamburger or beef hot dog (pork sausages just aren’t the same!) and I think everyone here that is not a vegetarian would change their minds! There isn’t a “chicken” eating time of year but summers without beef, that would be a nightmare for me!

Keep the chicken. All things beef can be replaced (and made better) by substituting bison. Super-awesome loophole.
