It is an interesting challenge. My approach is to make “healthy” foods cost less, particularly those food from a farm market etc. At least in NY benefits cards can be used to purchase farm market tokens. If the exchange rate on such a transaction were say 2:1 then someone who is receiving aid could stretch their grocery budget by purchasing fresh food rather than packaged/processed foods. My approach is to make “healthy” foods cost less, particularly those food from a farm market etc. At least in NY benefits cards can be used to purchase farm market tokens.
