Eating Styles: Salad Dressing Edition! Sam May 10, 2012 Eating Styles 12 Comments The weather is heating up, and it’s almost the time of year for a rejuvinating jump in the lake, a cool mojito, or a fresh salad. This Thursday’s big question is: what is your favorite salad dressing? Do you like the herby creaminess of ranch, or the lightweight bite of a balsamic vinaigrette? The sharp flavor of french dressing, or the muted sweetness of a raspberry vinaigrette? Or perhaps you prefer something more obscure, like the apricot dressing pictured above (my personal favorite is the creamy-cool mango curry dressing at Jolly Bob’s Jamaican restaurant in Madison). Vote for your favorite salad dressing below and explain in the comments. If your favorite isn’t an option, tell us what we missed! Reply Smokin' May 11th, 2012 Connie’s Blue Cheese vinaigrette sounds good. Also fond of Green Goddess lately. Reply Marie May 11th, 2012 Western! A very regional salad dressing but head and shoulders above the average French. Reply Mr. Fed Up May 14th, 2012 Ranch all the way….it has even made its way onto more than one pizza of mine. But I am guilty of adding it to sweet potatoes stuffed with beans and a bunch of other “non-salad” uses too. Reply Bakergirl May 15th, 2012 Blue cheese is my family’s favorite – I also love honey mustard. Reply Tom July 12th, 2012 Creamy Garlic! Why oh why can I not find it outside of the Chicago area?????
