Soda Ban Produces Bubbly Reaction JT June 7, 2012 News, Politics, Soft Drinks By now we have all heard of Mayor Bloomberg’s proposed idea of banning the sale of sodas in excess of 16 ounces in New York City. Regardless of what you think of the notion, it has certainly become fodder for those paying attention. Last night on Conan: Recently from The Daily Show (in two parts): My feelings about obesity in this country are well documented, but I just can’t get behind the idea of restricting such personal freedoms. That said, if nothing else, Bloomberg deserves credit for drawing attention to the issue – whether it be from comedians or regular folks. What do you think about the ban? And who had the better bit – Conan or Stewart?
