Eating Styles: Onion Edition! Sam November 19, 2012 Eating Styles 5 Comments It’s Monday, meaning it’s time for another Eating Styles poll. This week’s question is simple: do you cry when you cut up onions? Interesting fact: apparently, all the chemicals that make onions smell like onions are held in separate compartments and only react with each other when a knife slices through and mixes them all up. That’s why plain, uncut onions don’t smell like anything. It’s also why they only make you cry when you slice through them. Does slicing onions make you cry? Vote yes or no below and explain in the comments. Take Our Poll The following two tabs change content below.BioLatest Posts Sam My name is Sam and all I care about is food.
