It’s that time of year again. Are you getting excited for the big game? Well, even if you’re not excited about the Super Bowl itself, maybe you’re excited about all of the festivities that surround it. One of the traditions, besides betting, is to throw a Super Bowl party. And let’s face it: no Super Bowl party is complete without the right kind of snacks. One of the most consumed snacks on Super Bowl Sunday is nachos. Sure, you could go the boring route and buy some tortilla chips and some cheese and call it a day, or you could use a true nachos recipe and really satisfy your guests. A great Super Bowl Sunday recipe for nachos is the Kraft Cheesy Beef Nachos. It combines the best ingredients for what you’re really craving in your super nachos and takes only about 15 minutes to make. The recipe calls for a half-pound of lean ground beef and a half cup of chunky salsa in addition to tortilla chips. The important step is to brown the meat in a skillet and drain it. Then, stir in the salsa and let it simmer for two minutes. The recipe, of course, also calls for one cup of Mexican style cheese. Throw your nachos in the microwave or oven until the cheese has melted. In order to turn your nachos recipe into the ultimate super nachos recipe, pile on toppings like chopped onions, chopped tomatoes, sliced jalapeno peppers, sliced black olives and guacamole. All of those ingredients are going to go on top of the tortilla chips. This recipe is certainly not just limited to ground beef. If ground sirloin, pulled pork or chicken are more to your liking, you can just as easily substitute the beef with either one, just be sure you prepare the meat properly before adding it to your nachos mix. You can add a kick of flavor to your ultimate nachos by adding a splash of hot sauce or barbecue sauce. You can also go totally meatless, but still have filling nachos, by adding refried beans to your nachos. Anyway you go about it, this ultimate super nachos recipe is the surest bet for Super Bowl Sunday.
